Pomegranate Pork Chops

What you need:
4 pork chops*
2 tsp each, salt and pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 shallots, minced
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup pomegranate sauce*
2 tbsp liquid honey*
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp herbs de provence *
1 tsp corn starch


What you do:
1)Season shops with salt and pepper
2)Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in large skillet over medium heat, sear chops briefly on both sides until light brown
3)Reduce heat to medium low and continue cooking until chops are firm to the touch, about 10 minutes
4)Remove chops, saving cooking juices. Keep chops warm.
5)Add remaining vegetable oil to pan over medium high heat, add shallots and garlic, sauté for about 30 seconds.
6)Add pomegranate juice, lemon juice, honey and herbs, boil for 1 min.
7)Whisk in cornstarch moistened with a tablespoon of cold water
8)Simmer for a bit, adding juices from chops.
9)Serve chops with drizzled pomegranate sauce poured over them
